Are You Saved?

My friend, the question you just read is a very serious one.  It is the question above all other questions.  This question means the difference between spending eternal life in Heaven or in Hell!  So I ask you again, Are You Saved?  If you cannot give me a solid answer to this, please allow me to take a moment and review a few points with you.

1. You can have eternal life in Heaven.

I John 5:13 "These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God."

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

2. All men are sinners.

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God."

Romans 5:12 "Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned."

3. Because of this sin we have a price to pay.

Romans 6:23a "For the wages of sin is death..."

Revelation 20:14 "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death."

Revelation 21:8 "But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

4. GOOD NEWS- The Lord Jesus Christ paid this price for us.

Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

5. This is a free gift to YOU.

Romans 6:23b "...but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast."

6. All you have to do is reach out and take this gift of eternal life.

Romans 10:9 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved."

Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

7. You can accept Christ and have eternal life today.

Romans 10:10 "For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."

That's right friend, you can accept this free gift and be saved today. Would you pray the following prayer from your heart to God's heart, believing by faith that Christ will save you?

Dear Lord, I know that I am a sinner. If I died today I would not go to Heaven. Please forgive me of my sin, come into my life, and be my Savior. Help me to live for You from this day forward.                                                                                             In Jesus' name, Amen.

The Bible says: Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
