Sunday School Bus Ministry
Each
Sunday we
send out church buses and vans into the surrounding
community to pick up children and adults who otherwise
have no way of coming to church. Our bus ministry is a Soulwinning outreach to the lost of our community, going
into the "highways and hedges"
W.W. Moore Juvenile Detention Center Outreach
Every
Sunday morning since March 2006 Brother Jeff Shelton and
our Pastor have gone into a juvenile correction facility
in Danville, Virginia to preach the gospel to young men.
We have seen many saved as a result of this much needed
ministry.
Victory Christian Camp
Since
its inception in 2005, this camp held on our church
campus has brought in junior-age kids from area churches
of like faith for a three-day camp filled with
preaching, fun, and fellowship. This past year, seven
area churches participated over two weekends with a
total of 50 campers and 6 saved.

Sunday School
We
believe Sunday School is a vital part of the reaching
and teaching ministry of our church. We believe it is
essential for us as Christians to "grow in the grace and
in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ."
Thus we place a great deal of emphasis on solid Bible
teaching in our Sunday School. We have children's
classes for all ages as well as a new teens class , a "Bible Foundations"
class taught for new converts and the "Victory Bible Class"
held in the auditorium for all adults.
Children's Churches
During the morning worship service, we invite young
children to have Bible Church with instruction on their
age level. This gives them a greater opportunity to hear
and understand the gospel and allows parents to better enjoy the preaching service.
Teen Fellowship
We
have a good group of teenage Christians who meet
regularly to enjoy fun, Bible centered activities. They
also enjoy regular time of fellowship with Christian
teenagers in area churches.
Soulwinning and Visitation
Every
week, there is an organized effort to reach
the lost. We believe the local church is a called-out
assembly of believers commissioned of God to carry forth
the great news of the gospel to everyone. We go out on
Tuesday or Thursday evenings or Saturday mornings going
house to house, spreading the seed of the gospel and
inviting people to know the Lord and to come to church.
Choir
Our
choir is led by our pastor in singing hymns and other
great old-fashion songs that prepare our hearts for the worship on
the Lord and the preaching of His Word.

Faith Promise Missions
Victory Baptist Church supports missionary causes around the
world through Faith Promise giving. Over the past
five years, through the faithful giving of our people,
our church has been able to send out over $60,000 to the
cause of evangelizing a lost and dying world.
